Note from shop owner Hi, my shop is on a bit of a near permanent vacation. "Why", you ask?

Etsy wants me to raise my prices to give you the illusion of saving money. They are going to prioritize shops that have 'free shipping', but encourage shop owners to just build it into their pricing. That's great...if I only shipped to the US and could have some vague idea of what that increase might be. But I ship to the US, and Germany, and England, and Australia. Am I supposed to pick the most expensive destination and bake that into the price for everyone? That's hardly fair is it?

I've always charged actual shipping on my items and refunded any overage. There've been times it cost me *more* than I originally quoted for shipping and I just ate that cost because it seemed fair to you, my customer.
